L. Timmel Duchamp is a critic, essayist and fiction writer from Seattle, Washington. She pens a regular column for Lady Churchill’s Rosebud Wristlet and has recently seen a fiction collection, Love’s Body, Dancing in Time, come into print.

Michael Moorcock (2001–)
Michael Moorcock is the legendary editor of New Worlds and the author of dozens of novels, including Mother London, Gloriana, The Dancers at the End of Time trilogy, and the very popular Elric saga. He lives in the heart of Texas.

Luís Rodrigues (2001–)
Always trying to bite off more than he can chew, Luís Rodrigues is the editor-in-chief, designer and programmer of Fantastic Metropolis. He helped launch the site back in October 2001 and, roughly eighteen months later, was tasked with organising Breaking Windows, a sampler anthology with material from the site’s first year of activity. Outside of Fantastic Metropolis, Luís does literary translation and is a founding member of the Portuguese Association for the Fantastic in the Arts. He currently resides in Lisbon, Portugal.

Jeff VanderMeer (2001–)
Jeff VanderMeer is responsible for many strange and wonderful books, including the fiction collection City of Saints and Madmen and a number of award-winning anthologies, like Leviathan 3 and The Thackery T Lambshead Pocket Guide to Eccentric & Discredited Diseases. He lives in Tallahassee, Florida.

Zoran Živković (2001–)
Hailing from Belgrade in Serbia and Montenegro, Zoran Živković is a writer, essayist and editor whose work has been distinguished with the 2003 World Fantasy Award for Best Novella and two nominations for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, among others.

Agent provocateur Gabe Chouinard is the founder of Fantastic Metropolis, an idea which came to him while he was writing Dislocated Fictions, a polemic monthly column for The SF Site. He now heads a series of online projects collectively branded s1ngularity.
Paul Witcover (2001–2002)
Paul Witcover wrote the critically-acclaimed Waking Beauty and was editor of iPublish (Time Warner’s e-book and POD imprint) until it folded in 2001. Tumbling After, his second novel, is slated for publication in 2005.
